INDIANAPOLIS — Pierre Desir believes he's finally found a home in the NFL. Jack Mewhort never has known any other.
Both players officially signed one-year contracts Wednesday to return to the Colts and are expected to compete for starting jobs in the fall.
And both made it clear they didn't have a lot of enthusiasm for testing the free agent waters.
"For me, my main focus was to get back to Indy," said Desir, who made six starts and recorded his first career interception with Indianapolis last year. "We have a talented group of DBs, and I was excited to hear about the defense that is going to be brought in.
