When training camp started last week, the Indianapolis Colts found themselves without the services of second-year defensive end Henry Anderson and plenty of questions surrounding veteran defensive end Art Jones.
Anderson had a strong start as a rookie last year, earning a starting job after a strong training camp and preseason. But his first year in the National Football League came to an unexpected end after the former Stanford defensive lineman suffered a season-ending knee injury against Denver on Nov. 8.
The type of injury that Anderson endured usually takes a full calendar year to completely heal, which would mean he would be sidelined until the midpoint of the 2016 season.
