WESTFIELD -- A new era of Colts football has dawned in Indianapolis. The Carson Wentz era is here, and it’s possible the 28-year-old quarterback was more excited to be at Westfield’s Grand Park on Wednesday than the hundreds of blue-and-white clad fans in the stands there to watch his Colts debut.
With Philadelphia now behind him, Wentz admitted he had some butterflies in his stomach, feeling like a kid on his first day of school.
“I was telling (offensive coordinator Marcus) Brady before coming out here, I’m a little amped up,” Wentz laughed. “I got to tone it down a little.
