Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has the numbers used to measure successful quarterbacks — touchdown passes, completion percentage, passing yards.
Less familiar are the numbers marketers use to measure potential as a pitchman — the Davie Brown Index, Q Score, E-Score.
But entering his fourth season, established as an NFL star, Luck has shed his conservative approach to endorsements and is entering a world where the players aren’t just Tom Brady and Drew Brees, but Natalie Portman and John Legend, Idina Menzel and Liam Neeson.
“I didn’t want to overextend myself, and make sure I could focus on football,” Luck said.
