INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts are searching for ways to get off to quicker starts after falling behind by 18 points in the first half against the Detroit Lions.
A sack and a holding penalty in the first quarter against Detroit on Sunday was the start of the Colts gaining eight yards over their next eight plays in a 39-35 loss.
That’s when offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski opened things for quarterback Andrew Luck by allowing him to throw more out of the shotgun. That helped the Colts play with more tempo, then it was like Luck was back on the ground in grade school.
