So, yeah, it was bad. Really bad. Save the quarterback position, the Colts’ greatest cause for consternation this season was the five men tasked with protecting the quarterback, which, of course, they didn't do all that well. Because if they had, the Colts wouldn't have had ten different quarterbacks on the roster or practice squad this season.
“To call them average would be an insult to average,” ESPN NFL analyst Mark Schlereth said of the line midseason.
