INDIANAPOLIS — Jacoby Brissett will not play against the Chicago Bears in Saturday night’s preseason game, a source told IndyStar Friday.
The Colts do not plan to play most of their starters on Saturday night.
But the decision to hold Brissett out of action does not necessarily mean that he will be the opening-day starter against the Los Angeles Chargers, or that Indianapolis is making the decision because it’s pessimistic about the recovery of Luck’s injured left ankle.
