Following Friday’s coin flip, the Indianapolis Colts will have the 15th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, as the Minnesota Vikings (on behalf of the Philadelphia Eagles) won the toss and will select a pick before:
Of course, it’s the Colts first ‘loss’ of the offseason.
However, hopefully, it won’t have a significant impact on their draft plans unless the Philadelphia Eagles (who have the Vikings pick) select the prospect that Indianapolis really wants right before their pick.
Among potential targets for the Colts could be pass rushers such as Alabama’s Tim Williams, Tennessee’s Derek Barnett, and UCLA’s Takkarist McKinley–although it’s possible that Alabama inside linebacker Reuben Foster could fall to Indianapolis following his dismissal from the NFL Combine and reportedly ‘poor’ interviews.
