Colts will be 'shocked' if Kendall Langford doesn't play in Week 1

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts could have their best defensive lineman from last season back for Sunday’s Week 1 game against the Detroit Lions.

Coach Chuck Pagano said he’d be “shocked” if Kendall Langford didn’t play against the Lions. Langford underwent surgery on his knee early last month.

“He should be back [at practice] on Wednesday on a limited basis,” Pagano said. “We’ll ease him back in. He’s an iron man. He’s a tough, tough guy. If I were betting on anybody, I’d bet on him.”

Langford has played in 128 straight games.
