The Indianapolis Colts announced on Tuesday that the team has waived wide receiver Josh Boyce.
Originally a 4th round pick of the New England Patriots in 2013 out of TCU, Boyce has appeared in 9 games during his 3-year NFL career–recording 9 receptions for 121 receiving yards. He also has limited experience returning kicks, as he has 9 career kick returns for 214 return yards (23.8 avg KO return).
The 5’11”, 205 pound wideout spent last season on the Patriots injured reserve after clearing waivers before the start of the regular season. He was subsequently signed by the Colts this past April and spent the offseason with the team before his release.
