The Indianapolis Colts announced on Monday that the team has waived center Khaled Holmes, long snapper Forrest Hill, and offensive tackle Mitchell Van Dyk.
Of course, Holmes is the by far the biggest name of the group.
Originally a 4th round pick of the Colts in 2013, Holmes started 7 games for the Colts this past season at center. However, he never really lived up to his draft billing and was marred by both inconsistency and ineffectiveness.
In his 3-year career with the Colts, Holmes appeared in 17 games, making 9 total starts.
