Lewis volunteered to read books to people living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia at the American Village Monday. Indianapolis Star
INDIANAPOLIS — Tyquan Lewis’ transition from defensive end to defensive tackle for the Colts took a brief pause Monday afternoon.
The Colts’ No. 94 made a stop at American Village in Indianapolis to read books, including Tony Dungy’s “You Can Do It,” to people with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia as part of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. He also signed hats and took pictures with the listeners. Lewis took up the cause following his grandmother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis during his childhood.
