We’re almost to the finish line, as the Indianapolis Colts training camp wrapped up Day 11 of 12 with its first of back-to-back joint training camp practices with the Arizona Cardinals before their Week 2 preseason game on Saturday night.
I made it out to Grand Park, and there was definitely some newfound buzz in the pleasantly warm (but unusually not too sultry) mid-August air.
Not just because this was the closest thing to a competitive scrimmage you’ll get at camp with competition that isn’t just Colts teammates going at one another anymore, but because there were some Colts Hall of Famers reuniting including running back great Edgerrin James (who signed autographs beforehand) and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
