INDIANAPOLIS –
On Friday night, the Colts traded a 2016 sixth-round pick for former Raiders linebacker Sio Moore.
Drafted in the third-round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Moore started 22 games in his two seasons with the Raiders.
With a new coaching staff in Oakland this season, the Raiders went out and brought in former Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith in free agency, making Moore expendable.
At 6-1 and 240 pounds, Moore appears to have some flexibility to play either linebacker spot within the Colts 3-4 defense.
Moore had hip surgery in February, but is healthy after playing this preseason.
