IndyStar is ranking the top 10 (or so) players at each position in Indianapolis Colts history. Today, we're looking at off-the-ball linebackers, which includes inside linebackers in 3-4 defenses (1984-96 and 2012-17) and all linebackers in 4-3 defenses. Here are the 10 best:
1. Darius Leonard
It's only been three seasons but it's hard not to pick Leonard, the Indianapolis Colts' only All-Pro at the position. He's the definition of a playmaker with 7 interceptions, 22 passes defensed, 9 forced fumbles, 15 sacks, 26 tackles for loss, 17 quarterback hits and 416 tackles -- including an NFL-best 163 as a rookie -- in 42 games (all starts).
