NASHVILLE — Carson Wentz will start for the Indianapolis Colts against the Tennessee Titans, only a week after suffering sprains in both ankles and getting knocked out of a 27-24 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
The decision to start Wentz was first reported by ESPN and the NFL Network, and it quickly became clear at Nissan Stadium on Sunday that Wentz was going to be able to play.
Wentz emerged from the Colts locker room roughly two and a half hours before the game and went through his full pregame routine, stretching, taking drops, throwing the ball and at times running and jogging from drill to drill.
