Indianapolis Colts quarterback said he tried to get back on the field, but ultimately decided that wasn't the smart decision. Jim Ayello, jim.ayello@indystar.com
INDIANAPOLIS — The sprained MCL that knocked Colts starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett out of Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh might not keep him out of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.
An MRI confirmed Brissett's MCL sprain Monday, and when Colts coach Frank Reich talked to Brissett, the quarterback was positive about his outlook.
But Reich cautioned that the Colts would wait and see how Brissett's knee progresses before he makes the decision.
