INDIANAPOLIS — The leader of the Colts offensive line did not get to finish his team’s overpowering win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
All-Pro left guard Quenton Nelson has spent most of the season battling a right ankle injury that is considerably painful and easily visible given the heavy brace and tape he’s been wearing on the joint each week.
Nelson stayed down twice in Buffalo, and the second time he left the game and did not return to the Colts’ 41-15 blowout of the Bills.
“Just aggravated,” Indianapolis head coach Frank Reich said.
