The Indianapolis Colts today signed tackle Andreas Knappe to the practice squad.
Knappe, 6-8, 315 pounds, spent time on the Washington Redskins practice squad earlier this season. He participated in the Atlanta Falcons’ 2017 offseason program and training camp before being waived on September 1. Knappe originally signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2017.
Collegiately, Knappe started 32-of-36 games at Connecticut. As a senior in 2016, he started all 12 games at right tackle. Knappe started all 13 games at right tackle for the Huskies in 2015. He played in 10 games in 2014 and started the final seven contests of the season at right tackle.
