The Indianapolis Colts today waived cornerback Eric Patterson (again) and signed cornerback Shaun Prater.
The Indianapolis Colts continue their carousal at the cornerback position, as today they signed Shaun Prater and waived Eric Patterson.
Prater was originally drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Iowa, where he played in 48 career games (starting 35). The 5-10, 190 pound corner spent his rookie season on injured reserve, and the Bengals waived him the following year after training camp. The Philadelphia Eagles quickly claimed him and he saw brief action with them before being waived in October.
