The Colts have signed a safety away from the Chiefs.
Indianapolis signed Armani Watts on Tuesday, the team announced.
The news came right as the Colts learned that one of their former defenders, defensive tackle Taylor Stallworth, was headed to Kansas City on a one-year deal.

Watts, 26, spent the past four seasons with the Chiefs, who drafted him in the fourth round out of Texas A&M. Watts made one start at safety, coming in 2020, but has primarily been a special teamer.
