Earlier today, head coach Chuck Pagano revealed that Heenan suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee during Wednesday night's practice that will keep them out 4 to 6 weeks. The Colts decided to waive him with an injury settlement, which is different than being waived/injured, which would mean he would revert to the team's injured reserve if he cleared waivers.
