The Indianapolis Colts today signed defensive tackle Jeremy Liggins to the practice squad and released guard Ian Silberman from the practice squad.
Liggins, 6-3, 315 pounds, spent time on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad earlier this season. He participated in the Seattle Seahawks’ 2017 offseason program and training camp before being waived during final cuts on September 2. Liggins originally signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2017.
Collegiately, Liggins played in 28 games (seven starts) in three seasons (2014-16) at Mississippi. He saw action at tight end for the majority of his career, but also played some wildcat quarterback.
