The Indianapolis Colts announced on Tuesday that after placing starting defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (ankle) on injured reserve, the team signed defensive end Genard Avery from their practice squad to help reinforce their defensive line depth.
The team also announced that it signed defensive tackle Adam Gotsis, cornerback Gregory Junior, and defensive end Titus Leo to the team’s practice squad, while waiving defensive tackle McTelvin Agim and cornerback Ameer Speed in corresponding roster moves.
Leo was a former 2023 6th round pick of the Colts, who was recently released last week. He spent last season on the team’s injured reserve and this year’s training camp and preseason with the Colts—but was among their final 53-man roster cuts before being re-signed to their taxi-man squad.
