The Colts today signed undrafted free agent cornerback Frankie Williams out of Purdue, who was working out with the team on a tryout basis this weekend.
The Indianapolis Colts made a roster move today, signing undrafted free agent cornerback Frankie Williams out of Purdue. In order to make room on the 90-man roster for Williams, the team waived offensive tackle Davante Harris.
Williams was invited to rookie mini-camp with the Colts on a tryout basis this weekend, and it obviously didn't take long for him to make an impression. On just the second day of the three day mini-camp, the Colts actually signed Williams to a contract.
