INDIANAPOLIS – Colts defensive end Chris McCain was not with the team during today’s voluntary practice after he was charged this week with misdemeanor battery in Los Angeles.
Coach Frank Reich said the decision to have McCain stay away for the time being was reached in collaboration with General Manager Chris Ballard and McCain himself.
“We sat down with Chris and we just all agreed that this would be the best thing,” Reich said.
