Colts safety Mike Adams (4 INTs) ruled out against Saints

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts have ruled out starting safety Mike Adams (hamstring) for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans, coach Chuck Pagano announced on Friday. Rookie safety Clayton Geathers (knee) is also doubtful.

That means the Colts could be without two of their top three safeties when they face the third-best passing team in the NFL on Sunday. And oh yeah, the Colts are 28th in the league in giving up passing yards.

That’s not a good combination for Indianapolis.

"Trust and count on our guys no matter who it is that we put in there," Pagano said.
