INDIANAPOLIS – Roster turnover is a way of life in the NFL. In a league where the average career spans roughly 3.3 years, players can never truly be comfortable.
But what the Indianapolis Colts are in the midst of is dramatic, even by NFL standards.
After trimming their roster from 90 to 53 men Saturday, per the league-wide deadline, the Colts on Sunday were at it again. They claimed five players off the waiver wire, shaking up nearly 10 percent of the remaining roster.
