INDIANAPOLIS — Kylen Granson thought he was prepared.
He knew he might not hit the ground running in his rookie season. Few rookies do, and the ones that get the chance aren’t drafted onto depth charts that include established veterans like Jack Doyle and Mo Alie-Cox.
Granson thought he could handle it, that he wouldn’t let it get to him.
“Until I was about four weeks in,” Granson admitted. “I was like, Dang, man.”
Four weeks into the season, Granson had played just 55 snaps, 30 of those snaps happening against Miami because Doyle was severely limited with a back injury.
