The Indianapolis Colts released their list of jersey numbers for the 2024 rookie class on Friday. Wide receiver Adonai Mitchell selected his jersey number for a very specific reason.
The Colts’ second-round selection (No. 52 overall) out of Texas will wear No. 10. The reason? As ESPN’s Stephen Holder first reported, Mitchell’s jersey number selection represents the number of wide receivers taken before him in the NFL Draft.
