INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts reportedly have found their man.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissaro reported Monday that Indianapolis will hire Josh McDaniels as its next head coach.
The New England offensive coordinator would replace Chuck Pagano, who was fired after six seasons on Dec. 31 — hours after a 4-12 season ended with a victory against the Texans.
The Colts can't officially offer the job to McDaniels — or announce the hire — until after the Patriots' playoff run has ended. New England hosts Jacksonville on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game.
This would be McDaniels' second go-around as a head coach.
