WESTFIELD – The Indianapolis Colts reported for the start of training camp in remarkable health.
Only two Colts, veteran running back Spencer Ware and wide receiver Daurice Fountain, are expected to open training camp on injury lists, and Fountain could be back at any time.
Beyond those two players, according to general manager Chris Ballard, the rest of the Indianapolis roster is healthy and ready to go, and the Colts’ job is to make sure it stays that way.
“One of the things that the league has found, and we’ve found, is the first 7-10 days is almost acclimation period, if you haven’t been practicing,” Ballard said.
