The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday that they’ve released defensive tackle Arthur Jones.
There was talk that Jones could be a cap casualty this offseason, especially now that there’s a new regime in charge of the Colts.
Last year, Jones served a four-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy and finished out the season on injured reserve.
Jones, 30, is a former fifth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2010. He played out his four-year rookie contract with the Ravens before signing a five-year, $33 million contract with the Colts back in 2014 that included $16 million guaranteed.
