INDIANAPOLIS – Three seasons defined by his time away from the playing field has marked the end of Arthur Jones’ tenure in Indianapolis.
The Colts released Jones on Friday morning. Jones played just 17 games (out of a possible 48) in three seasons with the Colts.
In 2014, Jones singed a mega five-year deal with the Colts, figuring to be a massive piece to the team’s 3-4 defense.
An ankle injury in Week Two of 2014 began a string of injury/suspension problems that put the 30-year-old Jones off the field more often than not.
