Along with Jonathan Newsome, the Indianapolis Colts announced that the team has also released outside linebacker Andy Studebaker.
The 7-year veteran was re-signed in mid-December to bolster the Colts struggling specials teams coverage units. The team had surrendered a punt return for a touchdown in consecutive weeks prior to his signing.
Studebaker appeared in 3 games for the Colts, but didn’t record any tackles.
Originally a 6th round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2008, Studebaker has also spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tennessee Titans organizations.
