On Friday, Colts offensive lineman Donald Thomas was removed from the physically unable to perform list.
It was viewed as a positive step in Thomas' return to the field.
Apparently not. On Monday morning, Thomas was released, per a team source. The news was first reported by ProFootballTalk.
Thomas was part of the Colts' 2013 free agent class, but couldn't stay healthy, missing 31 of 32 games over the last two seasons.
