INDIANAPOLIS – The post-draft cuts have arrived for the Colts.
In trying to create more room for undrafted free agents, the Colts parted ways with 10 players on Monday, including long snapper Matt Overton.
Since 2012, Overton has been the team’s long snapper. Overton was under contract through 2018. With the release of Overton, Adam Vinatieri is the lone specialist returning for the Colts this season.
The quantity of Monday’s moves was expected after the Colts ended the draft with just seven open roster spots.
The Colts now have room to sign 17 undrafted free agents.
