Kendall Langford and Henry Anderson were slated to be the two starting defensive tackles last season, but both of their years ended with an injury. Langford was only available for the year’s first seven games, and Anderson was forced to miss five games.
Langford had been an extremely durable player for his first eight NFL seasons, but complications from a preseason knee scope limited him and eventually ended his season in 2016.
Langford was shut down for the year at the end of October, and he was forced to undergo knee surgery again this June.
