Several players Indianapolis Colts fans expect to play when the regular season begins won't take the field in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills (WXIN-59, 7 p.m.). They include:

Rookie linebacker Ben Banugo, receivers Parris Campbell and Penny Hart, tight ends Jack Doyle, Eric Ebron and Ross Travis, center Ryan Kelly, quarterback Andrew Luck, defensive end Jabaal Sheard, kicker Adam Vinatieri and running back Jordan Wilkins.

Coach Frank Reich said earlier in the week that running back Marlon Mack was unlikely to play.
