Reggie Wayne is going to have to wait at least one more year to join an ever-growing list of Colts in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
A finalist for the third consecutive year, Wayne was not part of the class of 2022 announced on the NFL Honors awards show Thursday night, a class that included five modern-era inductees: Jaguars offensive tackle Tony Boselli, Green Bay safety LeRoy Butler, Saints and Panthers linebacker Sam Mills, Patriots defensive lineman Richard Seymour and San Francisco defensive lineman Bryant Young.
Wayne, who was among the final 10 last year but did not make it to the final 10 this time, ranks 10th in NFL history in both receptions (1,070) and yards (14,345), and he’s also one of the most productive postseason receivers ever.
