The Indianapolis Colts recently were holding a ton of players on Injured Reserve as a result of the cut down to the 53-man roster. There were a handful on IR who we didn’t even know were injured and had played in the preseason finale just days before.
However, there were a couple of names on the designation who stood out for one reason or another. Obviously when the Colts waived-injured T.J. Green, it was apparent that the experiment was over in Indianapolis. Yesterday, the Colts waived Green from IR with an injury settlement, and now it’s actually final, Green’s time in Indy is over.
