The Indianapolis Colts announced on Sunday that the team has re-signed rookie tight end Mike Miller and waived fellow tight end Emil Igwenagu in a corresponding move.
Originally signed by the Colts as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Taylor University in local Upland, Indiana, Miller was placed on the non-football injury list to begin training camp. However, facing roster constraints, the Colts were forced to release Miller in favor of another tight end Nick Truesdell for depth purposes during late July.
However, now apparently healthy, the 6’6″, 255 pound Miller returns to the Colts, as he showed off his size and length during the team’s OTA’s earlier this offseason.
