Colts’ RB Edgerrin James elected to Hall of Fame

Edgerrin James was an integral part of the mid-2000’s Colts. He was the workhorse back who carried the running game in Indy for 7 years. He has had to wait to get into the Hall of Fame for 6 long years, but now will officially get his gold jacket.

James was a member of the Colts from 1999-2005. In that time, he ran for 9,226 yards and 64 touchdowns. As a rookie, he made the Pro-Bowl and was selected First Team All-Pro. He ran for a Colts rookie record 1,553 yards and added 13 touchdowns.

Over the course of the next six seasons, he would be selected to the Pro Bowl three more times.
