Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett: 'No question' knee feels better after two days

INDIANAPOLIS — Two days after his left knee buckled under the weight of Quenton Nelson, Jacoby Brissett looked upbeat in his weekly session with local media.

The Colts starting quarterback had good reason.

According to Brissett, his left knee — he sprained his medial collateral ligament in the second quarter against the Steelers and couldn’t return to the game — feels significantly better than it did on Sunday.

“No question,” Brissett said.

Brissett had been optimistic in the post-game locker room, but he wasn’t able to know the severity of the injury for sure until he went through an MRI on Monday.
