INDIANAPOLIS — Colts starter Jacoby Brissett will practice on a limited basis Wednesday, an encouraging sign for a quarterback dealing with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
Brissett has felt positive about the injury ever since an MRI revealed no further damage on Monday, and he’s said that the way his knee has felt has improved by leaps and bounds.
If Brissett’s feeling good and the Colts are confident he won’t make the injury worse, Colts coach Frank Reich says he will make the start.
“Jacoby’s old-school now,” Reich said. “He took a beating in 2017 and still played every stinking game.
