INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts receivers are aware of the underlying story too often told about their dropped passes. As elite athletes paid millions to catch passes, each and every one of them takes it personally when a pass bounces off his hands and hits the turf.
Coming into Thursday night’s game against Pittsburgh Steelers, the biggest offensive concern wasn't supposed to be the receiving corps. If there was going to be an issue on that side of the ball, the most likely suspect was backup quarterback Scott Tolzien, who had not completed more than a single pass since the 2013 season.
