INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts have placed Adam Vinatieri on season-ending injured reserve with a left knee injury, according to IndyStar sources.
The team made the move Monday, as the legendary kicker will reportedly have surgery to repair his ailing knee. The soon-to-be 47-year-old Vinatieri missed time during training camp with a knee injury and has admitted he's been dealing with discomfort in that knee throughout the season.
