Colts praying for Howard Mudd as offensive line coach battles after motorcycle accident

INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts are in the middle of training camp, gearing up for the start of actual practices and the season as a whole, but they’ve got one eye on the state of Washington, where legendary offensive line coach Howard Mudd is in a Seattle intensive care unit after a motorcycle accident two weeks ago.

Mudd, who made his name building the offensive lines in front of Peyton Manning, was still in Indianapolis at this time last year, working with the offensive line in the middle of training camp.

Offensive line coach Chris Strausser has been close to Mudd ever since his own time at the University of Washington.
