INDIANAPOLIS – One Indianapolis Colts receiver led the NFL in receiving. Another starter missed seven games with injuries. One tight end had a breakout season, but another had one of his most underwhelming. Meanwhile, pretty much everyone charged with catching passes failed to do so consistently, as the Colts ranked among the league leaders in dropped passes.
As we reflect on the 2016 performance of the Colts’ receivers and tight ends, it can be summarized like a lot of aspects of this .500 football team: a blend of good and bad, ups and downs.
