ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Game No. 1 is in the books. And the Colts are flying home with a victory.
The Indianapolis Colts on Saturday evening escaped Ralph Wilson Stadium with a 19-18 win over the host Buffalo Bills in their 2016 preseason opener, erasing an early 9-0 deficit to tie the game going into halftime, and then holding strong at the very end to halt a two-point conversion attempt that would've won the game for the Bills with no time left in regulation.
For the veteran players, Saturday's game was a great opportunity to begin knocking off some rust.
